What this is

KOOLAID — the Kentucky Online Offender Lookup AI Demo — is an AI-assisted lookup tool built on Kentucky’s public corrections record. It is not operated by the Commonwealth.

The record itself comes from the Kentucky Online Offender Lookup (KOOL), which covers adults in Kentucky state custody or under probation & parole supervision.

Where the data comes from

Records come from the Kentucky Online Offender Lookup (KOOL), public record maintained by the Commonwealth, and are refreshed nightly.

Coverage:State custody and P&P supervision. Excludes county jails, juveniles, federal inmates.

Not included: release dates, detainers, disciplinary history, medical or mental-health data.

How to use it responsibly

Data is public record and may be incomplete or out of date. This site is not a consumer report and must not be used for employment, tenancy, insurance, or credit decisions under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Misuse may carry civil liability.
